My Problematic Phone( Nokia 6280)

   I first had a problem with my new Nokia 6280 when I was in Bangkok. As soon as I landed in Bangkok, I cannot receive any signal from my god damn phone.

I thought it was just a Bangkok thing but I found out later that most Thais had the same phone and they had no problems with it.

When I went back to Singapore, for two days my handphone had episodes of low signal and no signal at all. I was completely at a lost whether I should return the phone or have it serviced. It was less than a month old and I was already having problems with it.

My main complaint with my Nokia 6280 are:

1)No network

2)No roaming

3)Low signal

 Yesterday, when I returned the phone to the Nokia Service Center I found out that other Nokia customers also had the same problems with the same model.

Nokia's customer service slip indicated the following repair /maintenance work that they will do with my phone:

Replace network chip

Upgrade software

This is the first time I had problems with a Nokia Phone and I think the next time I will buy a different model.My Nokia 6280is a lemon.
